Douglas Booth and Machine Gun Kelly to star in Mötley Crüe biopic

Machine Gun Kelly a.k.a. Colson Baker to those of you who’ve seen Cameron Crowe’s Roadies, is currently filming Netflix’s adaptation of Mötley Crüe’s 2001 The Dirt. MGK is playing the band’s drummer, Tommy Lee. As you can probably already tell (or have already read), the biopic shows the band’s early years, so Baker isn’t the only young gunna in the film. Douglas Booth will star as Nikki Sixx, while Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon and Daniel Webber are in negotiations to play guitarist Mick Mars and frontman Vince Neil, respectively.

The script was written by Rich Wilkes and Tom Kapinos, and Mötley Crüe are listed as co-producers on the project.
