The wait is over: Boracay’s Spicebird is coming to The Grid

Boracay Island’s Spicebird is coming to Manila and opening permanently at The Grid in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center on September 16, 2020.

Spicebird is known for its Piri-Piri Chicken, Pork Belly, and other grilled dishes, as well as its famous Piri-Piri sauce, which customers can now enjoy without having to fly to Boracay. “It all started when we tried a streetside Piri-Piri stall in London and that became our peg for the sauce. We had a South African guest once in Spicebird, and he said he was excited to try our sauce because he grew up with it — and he loved it, he said it was very authentic,” says owner Nowie Potenciano.
