Puregold goes cart-less with new Shopping Ally app

SALLY, that app! Puregold recently launched the Puregold Mobile App, which it calls Shopping Ally or SALLY.

Designed in partnership with Globe Telecom, SALLY is a scan-and-pay app that makes cart-less grocery shopping possible at all Puregold branches. Here’s how it works: You scan the barcode of the items you want to purchase, await confirmation, skip the long lines at the cashier, and pay for and pick up your items at a designated counter.

As the app records customers’ purchase histories, SALLY can also be used to reorder items from Order History — ideal for SMEs who need to replenish stocks. The app also has a chat function called ASK SALLY, which allows customers to get real-time responses on grocery-related inquiries.

Users of Puregold Mobile can pay in cash, credit card, or debit card at the store, or via GCASH.

Puregold Mobile is available for download from Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS).
