‘Tis the season for ugly Christmas sweaters and Diesel is not having any of it — ugly wool sweaters, that is. If you’re going to wear an “ugly” sweater, it better be made with good wool, at least. That’s what Diesel believes.
To fuel a global revolt against ugly wool sweaters, for its FW17/SS18 Collection, Diesel asked for the help of the highest authority in terms of warm, soft wool. After all, who better than a sheep could help you say no to uncool wool?
A cool Diesel sheep, dressed in a leather jacket and denim, will be the brand’s ambassador for its new Winter Holiday’s Global Campaign, “Say No to Uncool Wool.” Colorful sheep mannequins, dressed in clothes tailored to perfection in their odd shapes and sizes will pop up at Diesel stores all around the globe, while a set of behind-the-scenes videos will be released in the digital sphere.
