Alodia Gosiengfiao is the country’s premiere cosplay artist. Alodia isn’t only an expert in the art of creative costumes—she’s been crafting makeup tutorial videos in her Youtube account as early as 2011. Her desire to use makeup as a tool to transform herself into who she wants to be led her to be handpicked by NYX Professional Makeup as the first Filipina to curate a special collection with the Los Angeles-founded brand. Asked about the role of makeup in her everyday life, Alodia said, “For me makeup is art.
